"Overall, it just seemed that the media side of the office really needed to be lead by someone that has more business sense. I wouldn’t recommend this place because there isn’t any advancement and no training. It really lacks thought leadership and innovation."
"AKQA SF was a great agency a year ago until WPP bought AKQA and became bad influence with its operations. Early 2014 all the director and managers within the department left the company and got replaced by other branch. The tech department has become a sinking ship since then."

"Plan on this being a puddle to jump over in your career path. You will learn a lot, but you will also get burned out by long hours, low pay, and low morale."

"Leadership methods are outdated. The organization doesn't invest in their employees through training and other programs."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Provide training for your leadership. Don't throw them into management positions without this. Invest in your employees and create loyalty. The churn & burn method currently utilized is not sustainable."

"It's mostly about the 'fit' within the company. Just be yourself and you will do fine."

"I think they underpay their employees because they can. There is such a high demand to work there, I feel they take advantage of this."

"Pay your employees more or they will eventually leave. Sounds bad but its the truth."
