What do you like about working at Aldi?

"I enjoy the level of responsibility, it just needs to be appreciated and recognized more."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It is the right fit for some people. I am extremely driven, but I the people I have seen be most successful at AldI are more than driven... they have zero work-personal life balance. If you like being micro-managed and never getting positive reinforcement, AldI is the place for you."

What don't you like about working at Aldi?

"We are hired on the premise of freedom... freedom of schedule, freedom from being micromanaged, freedom to be a unique leader. None of those turned out to be true. We are told when to work (not a big deal except for the promise of freedom), we are constantly scrutinized by our director for every decision we make, and there is no freedom to be our own unique leader."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would use more positive reinforcement and realize that sometimes personal time is more rewarding than more money."
