Be more open minded; listen to your front line staff. They see what is the residents want and need on a daily basis. Stop cutting corners to make higher profit margins. Reinvest in your assets and employees. Way too much politics at the management level. It makes it hard for the management staff to get their jobs done when they are spending most of their time dealing with corporate politics. Reward your staff when they do well by telling them good job and dont ask them why didnt you do more when they have already done more then what was expected.
