"No one has any job security, due to the sale of the communities. There isn't much loyalty for the work I've done for them."

"Make sure you keep an eye on our prices vs. our competitors. Also, you need to do a better job keeping your aces in their places."

"Just tell them what they want to hear. Even if it is not your values."
What don't you like about working at American Residential Communities?
"Be more open minded; listen to your front line staff. They see what is the residents want and need on a daily basis. Stop cutting corners to make higher profit margins. Reinvest in your assets and employees. Way too much politics at the management level. It makes it hard for the management staff to get their jobs done when they are spending most of their time dealing with corporate politics. Reward your staff when they do well by telling them good job and dont ask them why didnt you do more when they have already done more then what was expected."
