3.7 I worked as a tutor at the Art Institute so I could gain the experience of helping others learn what I had learned fairly easy. Although budget cuts had a major impact on our team, we were able to make a difference in many students education. Sometimes we were complimented on our efforts as being more effective than that of the actual course instructor. So it was very gratifying and I would recommend it to anyone.

To try not to manage so harshly to a number and see that this type of job is really about changing a students life, not meeting a sales quota, and to assist in successful sales training and techniques. I was mentored and written up on a regular basis, but never thoroughly trained on successful sales techniques. it made me feel as though I was set up for failure.

3.7 I enjoy working in the Print Lab at the Art Institute of Dallas for it is a great learning experience on how to properly print graphic projects using laser jet, inkjet, and plotter printers. My only dissatisfaction is that being a student worker I am only allowed to work 20 hours in a week and there is no room for increased pay because student workers are only paid minimum wage.
