"The company is doing exciting work but it is understaffed."
"I have worked with ASM since 2014. There are over 600 employees at the Phoenix location alone. ASM is a global company is located in many other countries. It is hard to promote within this company if you are not an engineer. It is a very fast paced environment and thing change every hour."
"I do not feel comfortable reviewing my previous employer."
"I've worked with ASM America for over 7 years now. This company is part of the semiconductor industry which is very challenging but also had its rewards. Great employer/employee relationship with a good work/life balance."
"I worked for ASM America for 2 years as an FSE. The company itself is solid but the general compensation system could be improved."
"Pros: Stable position, good benefits package. Cons: Job is based around customer contracts; if the contract is cut then you are moved into a different role."
"I've worked with ASM America for nearly two years now. The management is ok, but sometimes there is a breakdown of communication when it comes to coordinating trouble calls with ASM Japan since the system is originally from there. There are tools and resources provided to complete the job but there is a lot of red tape to pass through to even begin the work. While this may seem like a good idea to implement for safety reasons, it really slows the work down to a crawl."
