"I have been a SME (Subject Matter Expert) contractor for 2 years. It a fast-paced work environment that is fun to be a part of. The only downside is that it is not possible to transition from Contractor to Staff with lockout the contract. Must leave for 12 months before I can have the option to return."

"I worked at AstraZeneca in Coppel for 1.5 years. The Coppel site is kind of like a startup moving to a full production facility. The people are good there. The manufacturing jobs are more physical and taxing than many pharma jobs."

"The work isn't very complicated or technically difficult. However, things have become too schedule-driven rather than safety and quality-driven as preached. The culture often feels toxic with many people being more concerned about their own egos and agendas rather than focusing on what's best for others and the site as a whole. There are certainly kind and genuine people at this place, but those people are few and far between and are constantly overworked in their groups to make up for the lazier members in the group who seem to prefer to do more talking than working."

That said, there seems to be some disconnect in expectations between corporate departments and how that information gets to the site. It is a great place to work though and everyone is extremely nice and personable there."
