"Throughout 2019 I worked at AutoNation Lincoln in Clearwater. The products were excellent. And that includes the inexpensive used cars we had in inventory. The customers were interesting and I tremendously enjoyed working with them. The compensation was theoretically unlimited. But in practice, quite limited. The credit allocation procedures setting commissions were arbitrary and inconsistent. Explanations were turgid and murky. If you don’t need a high salary, it’s fine. And a great place to buy a car."

"They have favorites. They find ways to demote you and make you look bad. Please don't work it, they are the worst company I have ever worked for. If you are not their favorite they will work together to get you fired. They promote relationships with married men and women at the work place. They don't care if you do your job well. If you aren't in the click they work to make you look bad or force you out. If you are qualified the management is threatened so they rate you below average even though you get excellent ratings from your CSI survey from your store. The supervisors have been there 18-20 years and you will be made to look inadequate so they can keep their jobs. Please never work here for your own sake."
