"I have worked for Bausch & Lomb for three years and have learned a vast amount of knowledge related to FDA regulations and requirements. The company has an excessive amount of systems. There is no room for advancement in the procurement department. However it is an excellent place for anyone who is not looking for a career advance. Salary and benefits are adequate and based on other local businesses of this size, need to be re-evaluated for improvements. The working environment is suitable."
"The company was a great place to work at before wall street bought them out in 2007& 2013. Consider reviews based on when they were written. As of 2014 it has a bottom-line focus on making money for the top execs and stockholders. Controlling execs have minimal ethics. I saw a product be released that had problems which were not fixed in order to meet a market deadline. The product subsequently partially blinded multiple customers. Managers were rewarded for releasing the product on time."
"Very stressful. Adversarial rather than teamwork. Managers are all powerful."
