BAX Global is an international freight forwarding company. Headquartered in Irvine, California BAX Global operates offices in a number of different locations including Ohio, Singapore, London, Australia, and the Netherlands. Founded in 1971, the company originally operated as an airline. In January of 2006 acquired by DB Logistics, BAX Global integrated with Schenker; which currently operates as the land, air and sea freight division of DB Logistics.
In July of 2011, Schenker Inc. announced that they will be halting their domestic air freight activity. The cargo, supposedly sent through air freight to the United States, Canada and Mexico is now primarily moved using trucks.
