"Have good working systems in IT working for all, and make them uniform for the company. At times, it seemed that the majority of the work was being done manually for many tasks that may have been performed faster ans more efficiently if automated. Although not in my case, managers need to make sure they keep communiction lines open, are organized and plan the subordinate daily activities under exact parameters to avoid duplication and inefficiency with the end result."

"Get everything in writing and get a job description for whatever position your applying for."

What don't you like about working at Bimbo Bakeries?

"What I didn't like was the advise I was constantly being given from the account side and the operation side of the company. Many times I was being told to be invisible and to be less efficient. The operations side of the company didn't like the responsibilities I was given to perform by Safeway. I feel that I performed the job responsibilities for that position better than anyone has done in the past, and to this day. That was not just my opinion but it was the opinion of the company President, Jim Brennan and the President of the Texas division of Safeway Steve Frisby. When I was let go by BBU, I feel it was not just, and my accomplishment's were never taken into consideration. I feel I made a difference and built that account relationship to it's highest point."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Perhaps in the future, when the company makes changes, they would take into consideration those that are actually making contributions to the bottom line and those that can make a difference. The good O Boy syndrome never contributes to the bottom line, and never will."

Director of Fleet Operations

"Good organization."
