They don't respect women. They want girls to perform sexual favors for them. This is happening in your Mumbai office. Go look at your operations. Sitting in your plush offices, you have no idea what your mid-level and senior managers are doing to people on the ground, especially your operations in Mumbai. It's a torture chamber. It's a sweat shop. Nothing more."

"I've worked for BNP Paribas for Eight years. It is a strong company but it was not a very stable place to work during the years that I was employed there. It has gone through much of its workforce with layoffs. The last 10 years of BNP Paribas has been a very unstable working environment for many employees with frequent off-shoring, near-shoring and layoffs. Many employees are afraid for their own jobs and working at capacity making the environment stressful. Pressured to do more work."

"Unless you are french and have a dead brain and do not wish to think neither motivated at all. Go for it."

"They offer average pay, and good benefit. Good time offering"

"Look for alernative race when promoting your staff members. several people requested promotoin after receiving their MBA and were never heard"

"I enjoyed the intellectual caliber of the people and their dedication to their function."

"Be yourself. French banking culture is quite different from its US or English counterparts, and if you aren't a fit, it would be best not to start working there."

What don't you like about working at BNP Paribas?

"As a contractor at a French bank based in New York and answering to the London branch, I don't think I had as much power to effectively do my job as I would have liked."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I believe management needs to take a longer-term view of their non-European operations as that is where the growth is going to be."
