"Don't work here! Long hours, no pay, horrible benefits!"
"To work for a non profit is no easy task. This chapter of the BSA is brand new as it recently conducted a merger of three chapters. I can attest that the talent level is strong, as well as the leadership organization and overall goal and vision. We have been bogged down by certain misunderstandings of other office cultures and needs but am certain that time will allow for cohesion and overall success."
"I have worked for the Boy Scouts of America for the last seven years and have had the opportunity to work on some very special projects with influential donors. Over the last 9 years, I have been fortunate to complete over $130 million dollars in construction. The organization has allowed me to advance my skills while working on high-end projects."
"I have worked for the BSA for 6 years. Its a great organization for a young executive just starting out."
"While good hearted, the local council much like the national organization is grossly understaffed and overtasked in their design. Employee relations are strained, resources are limited, and the internal culture is far below average. That being said, many linger on in good faith of improved conditions amidst the knowledge of a bountiful mission impact. The problem becomes balancing the needs off the organization with self-preservation and personal well-being."
"I worked for the Boy Scouts for 5 years and unfortunately it was a disappointment to me because I once had a high regard for this organization. They do not have any class and very little organization skills. The organization just has their meat hooks out for money at every turn and really are not interested in focusing on the youth that are looking for a great outdoor experience. Money for the executives is the top priority and youth programs are not usually considered until the last minute."
"I worked for the Boy Scouts of America for about 6 years. I found that training and developmental opportunities were exceptional. The company employed about 100 people at 5 different locations."
