"Working under Ed Fry the father and had of C.E. Fry Construction, was truly a good experience. unfortunately he is trying to retire, and that has left the company in a state of turmoil."

"When discussing compensation, get everything in writing and make sure it is spelled out in total before moving forward."

What don't you like about working at C E Fry Construction?

"It is a family-owned business and out of nine people in the office, five of them our family. That makes the chances of moving up in the organization or a promotion virtually impossible."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"When you have good and loyal people working for you, it is always a good idea to be honest and upfront. When you make promises to your employees you should always follow through. Senior management needs to look more than two or three months down the road, you need to be able to project at least 4 to 5 years in the future on where the company is going."
