What do you like about working at Walmart?
"That they hire older adults...giving the opportunity to earn extra money to supplement their incomes."

"This is a great stepping stone, until a better job comes around...if you can put up with the nonsense of Walmart, more power to you, for longevity."
What don't you like about working at Walmart?
"Extremely top (management) heavy. Procedures in place that hinder (in my opinion)customer satisfaction and sales."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a cut in pay,or in hours. Since our hours are cut to the bone...how are we to make our monthly expenses if we are given only 16 hours per week; plus management receives bonuses because of the money saved by cutting lower employee's hours."

"The coworkers and people that came into the store that were nice and pleasant."

"Be open and friendly. Be able to work in a group and think on your feet during the interview process."

"The hours were not the best. The people were sometimes rude."

"Nothing at all. Company's great. I just can't do the work due to injury."

"None at all. Management is fine. They do a good job."

"The general atmosphere of the workplace is warming. All of my peers worked together quite well."

"Be calm and collected during the interview at Sears, and keep the conversation flowing."

"The lack of work to get done left me sitting at the cash register for the majority of my shift."

"If prices were lowered more, customers would have known where the store was, thus, the store wouldn't have shut down."

"Try to stay calm, keep eye contact, don't talk all the time and let the person finish what they say or write down."

"The only thing I can think of right now is that I would like some more hours to work."

"I really don't have any complaints about them, as they are really good."

What do you like about working at PetSmart?
"I like seeing the dogs and other pets, and helping pet parents with things they need and making their day."

"Be careful who and where you go. Research everything. Take in a store visit. Talk to current associates and ex-associates before applying."
What don't you like about working at PetSmart?
"People there gossip and cause drama. The management also does the same thing. If they have a favorite then the associate will do fine, but if they hate you, you're screwed. Most associates have gotten canned for stupid reasons, not legitimate. Some quit because they weren't going up in the company and dealt with drama. I have been with the company for a year and I got denied a raise and a promotion, and I get disrespected every day just being there. I'm thankful I have a job but this job is the worst one ever. Tip: be careful where you work for and who. The people treat employees like second class citizens, like dirt. The store is always behind products that are hardly ever there, and customers complain because their items are out of stock, and the associates are rude."

"Clean house and respect everyone equally and make the associates want to come and have fun at work."

"They exploit manufacturing to China and do not support domestic manufacturing."

"Allow the male workers to wear pumps (shoes), like they do with the female workers."

"I love nearly everything there is about Target. I think it's a wonderful place to work with plenty of colorful characters who are there day in and day out to help each other and grow as adults as well as workers."

"Be yourself and be proud to be given a chance to work for such a great company. Know that working at Target will not only be enlightening compared to some other retail jobs, but you will learn life lessons working there as well."

"The only thing I'm not fond of at Target is the lack of decent pay and the lack of decent hours per week."

"Don't be afraid of giving the dedicated employees that want to be at work the amount of hours they deserve."
