"It was a good place to learn the trade, but not a good place for long-term!"

"The location was appropriate at the time, near family and centrally located."
What don't you like about working at Associated Grocers?
"At that time, there were no women in upper management, or on the board. It was very unlikely that I would be promoted. There was also no incentive for employees to improve their education or training; either through reimbursement or promotion."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"A more progressive program that encouraged employee involvement and communication would have helped the company retain valuable employees and also offer a incentive to qualified job candidates."

"Website was really for their papers. Since papers are a dying medium, there were too many layers of people to deal with."

"For most of the time I worked for Pathmark they were a very ethical and rewarding company. After the LBO things did change."

"The company had a set of shared values that they followed when dealing with vendors and employees."

"The company was purchased by A&P and I am not fimilar with their procedures."

"After a leveraged Buy Out the company changed and I did not alway believe in the direction that they were going"
