"I have worked for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative for two exciting years. The company is driven by the heart of Priscilla Chan, the co-founder and she is by far the kindest person I have ever met. The business has suffered from many start-up woes and is still getting its footing, but it's a wonderful place full of amazing people. Some of the best and brightest from Facebook, Google, Netflix, etc. were recruited based on their desire to make an impact. It's a very mission focused company, and it's focus on best in class everything is second to none. Definitely the finest grouping of talent of any organization. CONS: This is not a place for growth and advancement. There is very little professional development support, and promotions are more based on attrition than growth. This has had an impact on retaining top-tier talent, many returns to Facebook or Google after their initial year or two."
