"I have been working at City National Bank for over 5 years and have found it to be a rewarding experience for those who want to learn new things and grow within an organization. There are some departments that are far more organized than others and managers do not appear to have much training on how to manage people. All in all, it is a great place to work, however things are changing rapidly. New executives appear focused on how they did things at their former companies; making a lot of process and organizational changes that are not necessarily best for the bank. There are a lot of silos and a lack of communication between colleagues that are supposed to be working together. Execs have their heads in the clouds."

"The organization is very flat and no chance for vertical movement"

"1) Be true to yourself and not some image that you perceive people want to see; 2) Eliminate the ivory tower syndrome; 3) Listen to people's actions and not just words"
