"If you're an engineer the growth opportunities are good, but if you're not then you should be fine with staying at the same position with the same pay for around 7-15 years. Otherwise, you will be miserable here."
What don't you like about working at Clark Construction Group?
"Management is too concerned about the bottom line and not concerned with hiring, retaining, and rewarding the employees. This could have a better impact on the bottom line in the end because it leads to people who are efficient and benefit the company. Upper management is also very resistant to change and is extremely conservative and stiff. Loosening up a little bit would go along way in lowering the turnover in the departments."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would pay more attention to what is going on and what keeps employees happy and motivated. Also, I would encourage new ideas instead of immediately saying no to any innovation that seems that it would take time to implement even though the results may greatly improve or benefit the company overall."
