What do you like about working at Cognizant?
"I like the challenges in my management position where I get to make decisions and implement plans for the better improvement of production and communication for those under me."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Understand the Cognizant heirarchy. Pay is based on specific titles. Those titles can only be earned over time. Often times merit is not enough to earn a promotion so that you can get a raise."
What don't you like about working at Cognizant?
"The day to day operations can be a real drag. it is easy to get bogged down and left feeling that you are working in a never ending cycle of production issues. Even though I was given a management role, my pay was not increased and I now work a larger work load with no compensation for it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Please stop holding onto the promotion schedule that is used. It leaves those people that are excellent resources left feeling used and betrayed. Two years for a raise is much too long for people that work hard for the company and its clients."
