"They should provide some travel opportunities for better career growth"

"The amount of positions throughout the company. There are several (and updated) positions around the company with locations from London to San Francisco."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Hard work is, in fact, rewarded well. Just be willing put in A LOT of hard work. Most of the employees are Indian with an incredible work ethic; the ones onsite worked extremely hard to be promoted to onsite from offshore."

What don't you like about working at Cognizant?

"What I get out of working 60 hours in each week does not pay off. I am expected to work this amount every day, with no benefits or overtime. Our environment is still incredibly messy, but I am micromanaged to a point where I can barely be productive. I am a young person and I have found myself to be more productive if I can take a break every so often, checking popular technology sites around the internet. Here, this is an exaggeration, I get an access denied page when going to google.com. This combined with micromanaging, long hours without acknowledgement or overtime, and not a friendly work-place environment lead to an extremely high stress level."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make the team understand that if there is a problem, the world will not end. That if there is an issue that has you working until 8-10 PM, you don't have to work through the night to finish.There are never any rewards or acknowledgements of your hard work; you can put in a 24 hour day and your supervisor expects you to be able to pull another all nighter the next day."

What do you like about working at Cognizant?

"I received a great amount of motivation and support from my co- workers. Had a great opportunity to learn."

"I wish every body a good luck and I hope to the one in the list to be called for an interview."

"There is nothing that I did not like about my previous organisation."

"They are very good in managing and get the work done. I wish they keep up the good work going."

"Cognizant has salary problem and promotions....well employee satisfation is less"

"The company is very unorganized with job transition and I wish there were more direction and they werent cheap"
