What do you like about working at Cranel?
"Since I working there as an intern - It gave me all the opportunities of learnig all aspects of the Accounting world - An provided an opportunity to move up in the company. They offered me a position in Los angles prior to me graduating from College - however I turned it down because of school. Great company and great people to work with."
What don't you like about working at Cranel?
"Cranel like most companies had a loud office political undertone. It was white collar - conservative through and through. The structure of a conservative cultured envirnoment wasn't what I didn't like. I did enjoy that however, sometimes it crossed over into racical issues. Also, not the CFO but my boss revealed some unethical things he was doing and I didn't want anything to do with that. So I left the company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would really enjoy the opportunity to be in Management one day. To be a great manager (coach, boss, teacher) one has to be a great motivator, visionary, communicator, and listener. People want to be lead by someone whom they respect and dont want to let down or disappoint. However, management needs to understand that what works for tom may not work for Mary. So to recognize that motivation comes in different shades is important. Also, some managers need to understand that recognition of good performance is essential for people, a simple Tom thanks for coming in early you really did a great job probably increased productivity 100 percent from that employee for the next month."
