"California State University, Channel Islands is an excellent employer and provides many opportunities for advancement from within. I was hired on a six-month contract, but because of budget issues in the state of California following the pandemic and the recession, the position is not being extended. My team was great to work with. I was provided an opportunity to do very good work that had an impact on the department's recruitment objectives and I'm proud of what I did there. If you have an opportunity, you should definitely check them out."
