3.8Daugherty is a good company. They endeavor to take care of their employees and they have a nice combination of title and role: you're not just a software engineer or business analyst, you're a consultant software engineer or business analyst. Being a consultant is not about taking orders from a client, whatever those happen to be. It's about collaborating with the client, asking good questions, looking for ways to improve, and challenging assumptions. The only problem I have seen is that Daugherty does not seem interested in pure remote roles and they tend to have a problem with setting expectations that they can't meet.
3.8It's a great place with a great culture! The growth is outpacing the ability to manage it well however; that's the biggest concern I have at this point. The training/growth opportunities are there, definitely.
Consultants are expected to go to a client and learn (very quickly) whatever is needed for the job at hand. That might not be in the consultant's skillset. This can be stressful. And it's just part of the culture.
Overall a good place to work and grow.
