"They over extended their financial commitments and had to slash their budgets."

"It was very challenging and my most senior role in my career. I have learned to be an executive with managing staff as well."

"In Australia, a government related job is like a security blanket, you literally cannot be fired unless you do something really wrong. In the same token, it means you do have to work with some very unmotivated staff."

"I worked there for 14 years and I learned, experienced and respected my supervisors and co-workers professionalism and took that knowledge to each and everyone of my projects. I listened to my supervisors when I was told any different. Followed all the rules, regulations and work ethics involved in the City government agency. Most of all I loved working for The City of White Plains. They treated me like family. I understand the situation and I must move on with my knowledge and experience as a Civil Engineer."

"Nothing. The City has to stop laying off people!! New Mayor in town."
