"Finding the right person for the job is often difficult, costly and at times disappointing. However, if you are in need of a reliable, competent, and well-organized individual, I have the qualifications to fulfill this position. During the past 25 years, I have held progressively more responsible positions in many diverse areas. I am seeking employment that would utilize my leadership skills, education and experience encompassing all aspects of a Control Engineer. I offer a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University and an Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Macomb Community College. In addition, I have over 20 years of successful hands-on experience working as a Service Engineer in the production industry. The majority of my work experience involves the installation and repair of CNC machines, both machining and turning centers. My daily tasks required knowledge of both the mechanical and electrical aspects of CNC machine design. Often this involved the modification of standard factory machinery, thereby increasing it’s manufacturing capability. Part of this experience also required changing the PMC Ladder and adding additional M codes to accommodate the new hardware. It was due to these skills that I was promoted to Assistant Service Manager while working for Amada Machine Tools. More recently, I held the position of Service Engineer for DMG Mori USA. This opportunity allowed me to gain additional experience with multiple machine types and models. Unfortunately, due to the current market uncertainty, my employment with DMG Mori concluded on April 17, 2020. I am confident that the skills I have acquired both in classroom and hands-on experience make me the ideal candidate for the Control Engineer position. I would greatly appreciate your consideration and would be happy to discuss any further qualifications outlining the potential contribution I can make to your department."
"Great people and great technology."
