"At the location I previously work at there is a huge conflict of interest... the past manger from this location is now the HR director. The current manager is best friends with the HR director. And the HR director's daughter works in the same store! Talk about blurred lines. Everyone has to walk on egg shells because the little girl tells her mother about everything going on in the store! Who would work for a company that would allow such mess? You have a ridiculous monthly quota to meet which is impossible unless you shove the merchandise down peoples throat to buy. The merchandise is over priced and poorly made. There is an extreme amount of down time. It is very boring. You stand all day and many times see only 3 people walk in the store. You're expendable! Your job is at risk from day one. I was even told, "This company fires for no reason." And its true!! Just ask the woman who found her position online and was let go shortly after ...for what? The color of her hair. There are no opportunities for advancement. This is a very small company. Corporate is comprised of like 10 people ...and if you survive the BFFs and daughter then you deserve a promotion! Health insurance is extremely high. Don't waste your time. There is no work/life balance. You're schedule is what is it unless you swap with someone but since the store doesn't produce enough sales to warrant hiring more staff, you're basically stuck. Good luck. Glad I got the heck out of there! Don't consider working for this company. You'll get nowhere and probably wind up getting fired anyways."
