"I have worked for Family Dollar for 3 yrs and though it is a successful company I feel that it does not have the best interest of the employees of the entry level positions in mind. With low pay, minimal chances for advancement, I feel the company can improve.So therefore I feel it is best if I move on."

What do you like about working at Family Dollar?

"It was a great place to work and you could see your progress that was made. You were in charge of all of your stores progress."

What don't you like about working at Family Dollar?

"Changing plan a grams every year. Stores were hard pressed to get them done on a timely basic because of low payroll."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"When hiring managers make sure they have at least 4 to 5 years as a store manager. You will keep these managers longer because, they start out knowing what to expect ."
