A total of 117 Fannie Mae employees gave Fannie Mae an average happiness rating of 4.2 out of 5.0.
3.6High consultant turn around. Don't expect to become a salary employee as they generally replace consultants within 1.5 years. However this is a great company to work for if you need something to do while looking for something else.Don't expect technical fields to be held by technical people. Several non-technical people get hired daily into technical fields here. The department I worked in provided access for the entire company but only 5 out of the 17 employees had technical experience.
2.4Shake it up and make changes in the regional offices where most managers have been in the same role for 10+ years. Diversity is also lacking in the management ranks.
4.3I've worked for Fannie Mae for 16+ years. Throughout my tenure I have been afforded opportunities to change/progress my career and would recommend Fannie Mae to anyone who might be interested. The environment provides a good work-life balance and a diverse culture.
