"Where to begin? Oh yes, please run the other way, do not waste your time responding to their ads because you'll just be one of many that fill out the 10 page employment application which will take you about 30 minutes to do, to then only be interviewed for 2.5 minutes. In my opinion, the owner is the most unprofessional, shady individual that you will ever meet in your life. If his clients all saw his true nature, the company would be left with no clients. His shady business practices know no limits. The company sends out invoices that are older than 10 years and expects for these clients to not question the validity of these so-called invoices and pay up.The owner has extensive mood swings and irritations that cause him to disrespect, curse, slam things and/or throw things at anyone that comes across his wrath, I truly feel sorry for his employees. The personality that the owner puts as a front when he is talking to his clients or when he is trying to get new clients is completely the opposite of his true nature. I would love to know the real reason as to why he has not been caught yet in all of the schemes and scams that he runs on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Be very weary of being lured with promises of working for a great company with excellent benefits, bonus, etc... because if you do make it past the 3 month trial basis (very few have stayed that long), then the owner will find some so called "reason" as to why you will be terminated once you pass the 3 month mark because they will stop at nothing to never give an employee those benefits. You have been warned, apply and/or work there at your own risk. As for the owner, karma always gets the last laugh."
"I answered an ad on CraigsList for this job... I should have known better. This company is one of the worst companies I've ever worked for! I worked for them for 3 days! First of all the place is a dump. Dusty and dirty. The windows look like hadn't been cleaned in 30 years. My office was a store room with boxes piled to the ceiling. The 3 days I was there, the garbage was never emptied. They gave me a computer that was broken and absolutely no training. If I wanted training, I would have to stay after a 10 hour day and work extra hours. I was given work without any explanation of how to do the work, then was yelled at for not doing the work. The owner treats people like they are a piece of crap. No one talks to each in this company, no one smiles and if anything, they are very unwelcoming. Hours were 10-12 hrs a day and they only gave a 1/2 hour lunch break with no other breaks. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY! If you have any self respect, you will run the other way! The check they sent me for the 3 days I was there came in the mail 3 weeks later and bounced! You've been warned!"
"DO NOT work for or do business with FireQuench. You have been warned!! Here is my personal experience. They called me in for an interview for Bookkeeper position on July 22nd, 2014. I already read reviews on the Internet they were pretty bad, but did not expect them to be extremely bad. I arrived at their new office at 39 West 37th Street around 30 minute early. I talked to a guy who worked in a nearby company who said he also heard terrible terrible things about FireQuench."
"There was someone that posted on here some time ago that it was like working in a Nazi camp. So very true. They are clock watchers and they only allow 1/2 lunches, NO Breaks. Unless you are the two woman who work here. Every time I seen the owner leave, one of the women was always out talking with the receptionist. Life is too short for me to go a work environment that is so negative. I left to work right down the block, and it is amazing how so well known, and notorious they are. Now that people realize I don't work there they ask how did I!!"
"Never got to meet or talk to anyone. They frown at this. Not a happy place. Management are unpleasant people so they make it a point to make everyone feel the same way."
"They have no personality, and they give you things to do but do not explain them. I asked if I go to lunch, and it was so bad I never came back. They didn't even give me a pen!! The girl at the front desk acts like you want her meaningless job. She better get a grip before she turns out like the bitter old office manager who has no life."
"The worst company you can work for. They rob from churches, Salvation Army, and I could name so many buildings they steal from in the form of unworked time. What I mean by that is, they will pretend they are working and go to sleep on the stairs or hide somewhere in the building, it's done all the time. Why does that happen, it's because there is nothing wrong in your building. They will make something up for you to sign that paper invoice. Go on yelp and look them up on that site."
"I've just left this company after a month. The office environment is that of a NazI camp whereby if you are seen talking or smiling, you are yelled at and cursed at! They are billing customers for work dating back to 2006. Changing their revenue #'s, duplicating invoices, and IRS field day! I have no idea if they filed returns annually, stay away!!!!!"
"They are an organization built on strong, core values."
