"I have worked at Fox News in many different capacities-- I helped launch the Fox Business Network, Fox News 24/7 on SirusXM radio, Fox News Rundown podcast the new interview TV show, WSJ at Large with Gerry Baker. Fox runs "lean and mean" and employees are expected to take on whatever tasks are needed to get the news/shows on the air. The compensation is lower than the industry standard but except for this pandemic year, it has given raises every year and promotes from within."
"No comment prefer in person review if requested."
"I've worked at Fox 5 DC for almost 7 months now and my overall view of the company is positive. However, management has a tendency to overlook its employees and pass people up for promotions. But overall, I enjoy the work environment at Fox 5, as well as the people who work there."
"Fox News’ DC bureau is top notch. The people are professional, the talent is friendly, and the bureau is run very efficiently."
"I'm thankful for the experience I had at Fox"
"Great place to work! Great management, and loved the work!!"
"Fox is a good place to work, not great, but good. The work environment is usually enjoyable and the managers are generally easy going and pleasant. Company benefits are competitive but wages are typically below what the competition offers."
"Don't do it. The management is horrible. They are the lowest paying station in town and there is blatant racism and negativity abounds."
"Great place to work and I learned a lot."
"Management will micro manage every project, and will remote control as much as possible, so all location engineers are treated like moronsRaises are pathetic, usually from $200-500 a year. If you're not one of the good 'ol boys you will never be accepted. Cheapest company I've every worked for. People don't share information in hopes that what they know will help keep their them in a job and needed....Management very good at deflecting blame to underlings."
