What do you like about working at Petrocasa Energy?
"There are a few decent people, but almost all of them have left, and for good reason."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are interviewed at all, you will be put directly into the fire of a man who knows dangerously little about technology. He insists upon using Mac Minis as servers in a PC-dominated industry. Best of luck to you, get out as soon as you can."
What don't you like about working at Petrocasa Energy?
"The owner will tell you to change things on your map, and then when you do, he'll tell you he didn't say to do that, and draw out minute, insignificant changes over a 50 email span, and then blame you solely for it being late. You may think this reflects the relationship between an incompetent GIS employee and a man who knows what he wants, but I assure you it is the relationship between an obsessive control freak and an employee who is expected to read minds."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stop trying to run a business. Go somewhere where you can do no harm. Preferably an island."
