"The management team was very well unified. I was part of an economic layoff, so I didn't have a long tenure with the company."

"When the economy took a turn for the worse, I was left unemployed in a very remote area. Negotiate for relocation should you be terminated for any reason if the business unit is in a rural area."
What don't you like about working at GKN Land Systems?
"It was managed out of the UK which only took a mild interest in the business unit and when key decisions could have saved a lot of jobs, they were made 8000 miles away based purely on current econimic factors rather than the actual business climate and potential with existing business."

"Trust the leaders at the business unit level and empower them to make key decisions based upon relationships and economic factors."

"Design manufacturing equipment. Work with manufacturing to trouble shoot, analyze and problem solve process and equipment issues."

"This company being under an English controlled headquarters will have a different style of management culture. Not saying that its bad, but only different."

"Lack of cooperation from management and sometimes maintenance to get projects completed. Generated an overabundance of forms and proceedures that were not followed."

"Establish a better procedure for floor management and inventory control. Need for more and better job training."
