"I have been working for HCL/C3i since July. The desk I was assigned to was on the newer end and has been a hot mess since day one. Nothing is in order, nobody cares about you, only numbers. I worked through covid remotely even though I could barely focus. Take yourself elsewhere, it isn't worth the stress."
"Good experience in all aspects."
"Not a bad place to work. I would continue to work here in the right role."
"Very good place, can't complain!"
"Pays bottom dollar compared to what they make from your services. Constant requests of information about ideas or processes from client site. Very little communication with higher levels. Take a look at who is management and who isn't and see who this company values."
"A pretty cool company to learn new skills and collaborate with other engineers internationally."
"i had worked for HCL america with very supporting management and leadership."
"Great job since it was remote and the environment was complex. Company structure and management style needed work on communication and direction"
"A great company for new IT starters, the room for growth is very minimum"
"Although ownership is a mutli-billion dollar IT company, their internal systems are not always reliable, causing delays through the process when the systems are down."
"HCL had some great local employees, extremely flexible work/life balance, and I loved the work I was doing, in and of itself. Globally though, the company was a red-tape nightmare. It was completely disorganized, no local HR, and the few helpdesk people were all in India and clueless. We didn't even have desks or work machines when we started. A 3rd party company handled the transfer of money from HCL to the contract agencies, but has been committing extortion. HCL laid off all contractors "coincidentally" after getting a new 3rd party company."
"Good standard processes already set in the company. Work culture is good."
"Great working experience and have industry experience of 10 year so"
"I have worked for this company almost an year. Very good team and learning curve is very good. Lot is support from manager. I would love to work with this team."
"HCL Technologies told me that I was going to be working in software and had me running scripts and working as an IT technician. They had initially asked me to relocate to Jersey City. They asked me to relocate a 2nd time within 3 months of living in Jersey City. The issue came from them refusing to pay the initial relocation that was in the contract. It wasn't until I left and got a lawyer involved that they paid."
