"I was promised a management position, and management kept putting it off. I didn't appreciate being misled."

"Use this job as a way to pay your bills until a better job materializes."
What don't you like about working at Home Depot?
"Scheduling is terrible. Their FAST scheduling system doles out shifts/hours based on peak sales and sales times. Great, but more often than not, store #1519 was left with a skeleton crew to take care of customers. Associates would have to cover multiple departments, not overlapping which is understandable, but multiple departments and often department phones would't get answered. Pay could and should be better."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Associate evaluations should be given quarterly to see what knowledge they have learned and/or retained. Management needs to listen more to the associates who interact with customers daily to improve Home Depot's relationship with the consumer."
