"The team for VOIP is excellent; really some of the best guys in the industry. The downsides are nearly 100% traveling time, and IBM can be a bureaucracy, so getting administrative stuff done is not fun. There are also frequent resource actions, however, I find they do try and keep their top talent.Overall I enjoyed my time at IBM."

"it is pretty easy and straightforward, just get a high salary up front, because you will be stuck at it."

"The management are greedy and fairly clueless, just worry about profits."

"Organize projects better than the current mess they are now."

"Treat this as a temporary job and be ready to move on went the economy shifts."

"The company used you like a commodity. When times were tough for them, employees were the most expendable."

"Prepare employees for career changes as they will soon be needing them."

"I would NOT recommend IBM as a company to work for in the US - except for the benefits."

"All of the work seems to be off-shored."

"Apply one of Thomas Watson's principles: Respect for the individual."
