"I enjoyed the responsibility and opportunity to lead a group to operate as a team to accomplish more than was possible individually. I like coaching and mentoring and leading managers to do more than previously possible."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It can be tough place to work because of the subservience to other larger divisions."

What don't you like about working at International Paper?

"Restrictions beyond my control. Lack of capital due to poor business decisions in other businesses. Being in a small division of a large company where the larger divisions have too much say over the direction of the business."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The company is becoming too commodity oriented."
