"Don't take on management role, do not associate with Corporate."
What don't you like about working at Xpand?
"Terrible Communication, Corporate Management finger pointing. Money mismanagement. Corporate not excepting responsibilities. General Manager's lack of trust and disseminating valuable information which was later used against employee's. Constant schedule changes without notification."

"Documented Business plan, Collaborative Vision, except responsibility for failures. Give credit and recognition."

"The atmosphere and people were great. The vision of the company was indecisive."

"Be careful. The furniture industry is still very unstable and Rowe Furniture is no different."

"The company filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy while I was employed there. Unstable."

"Management needs to listen and act upon the advise of the consultants."

"more knowledge about all the fields and departments to be manage"

"I enjoy the people I work with. Luckily I work with a great team that helps each other out."

"I would avoid it, honestly, but if you must. Just be ready to deal with a terrible corporate structure, terrible forced scripts (that don't work) and terrible upper management."

"I don't appreciate that our corporate managers are friends of friends that are from a closed down company that hired in friends and boosted their pay, causing a pay freeze on associates."

"Stop being terrible, and start LISTENING to your associates. I promise more will get done and the morale will be higher."

"I enjoyed working with my support staff - very dedicated."

"I would only tell people to study the company on line and be honest with their own qualifications"

"I did not like the union campaign from Teamsters local 166 - very poor moral for many."

"I enjoy the work that I do and the world recognition of the company."

"Ask for details not just in reference to the actual role but also as to any transition opportunities that the department maybe undergoing."

"I dont like that the opportunities for growth are minimal. Also the physical home video industry is dying. The digital movies are cannibalizing the physical industry and this is causing a reduction in personnel requirements."

"I would recommend for upper manamgement to take a more active approach in supporting their staff."

"I am allowed to work independently as well as with a group. I am very organized and the owner gets me anything I may need to keep the store this way."

"In a little over 3 years I've reached to peak or growth potential within the company."

"Give more incentives so employees actually try to do a good job instead of just showing up and riding the clock."

"It is a good company but tends to have a high management turnover."

"The new management thought that the company needed to be reorganized, they elimminating several positions, one of which was mine."

"I would suggest that they put more value in long term planning."
