"Iowa State University was the first place that I started working in United States. It was an amazing school with numerous facilities and collaborations."
"I worked as a Design Lab Supervisor with the College of Design at Iowa State University for about four years. Being a student it was difficult for me to find a job that would easily work around my heavy coursework. Working for the college made this very easy on me since they would promote doing school work during our down time or slow shifts. They also would do their best to schedule our work shifts around our current class schedule. And if we required time off for studying or project finals our manager would allow us to take the time off as necessary so long as we notified them ahead of time. Overall I enjoyed my time working here and learned a lot about the technology we used in the lab. I would recommend working here to anyone interested in looking for a job during college."
"Good place for study but not for job searching."

The IT department is supportive of professional development and provides opportunities for training for employees, both on location and as part of professional conferences. The one downside is that as an employee of a public university, salary is not as high as it could be in the private sector."
