Under the direction of the physician, responsible for the medical care rendered to a designated patient population consisting of working age population in business and industry. Works in collaboration with physician(s) to provide complete physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and episodic disorders. Assists in the planning, coordination, and clinical supervision of services provided to patients. Delivers cost effective patient care for a designated population which include men and women. Delivers quality, customer-friendly service resulting in a high level of patient and client satisfaction. Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and customers. Identifies and meet age-specific needs of patients. Practices within the boundaries of the Alabama Board of Nursing. Current, valid RN License and certificate to practice as a Nurse Practitioner as issued by ABN/MSL.# Prefer one year experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or family practice. Current, valid Alabama RN License and certificate to practice as a Nurse Practitioner as issued by the ABN/MSL. BLS required. Must be flexible, assertive, persuasive, and demonstrate effective diagnostic problem solving skills. Be self-motivated to deliver the highest quality medical care; able to effectively communicate with people from all socioeconomic backgrounds; able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, insurance carriers, case managers, physicians, hospital management and administrative staff, as well as clinical and support staff. Must demonstrate clear evidence of integrity and the highest standards of ethical conduct; willingness to receive and respond appropriately to performance reviews and constructive criticism. Keep accurate and timely medical records, cooperation with supervision in scheduling clinic needs.
