Our client, a leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a seasoned Civil Designer in Fairhope, AL.

- Compensation range: $50,000 - 85,000.

Responsibilities:
- Design, team leadership, and project leadership with an opportunity to grow and advance within the organization.
- Produce drawings and specifications for government, institutional, and commercial projects
- Perform site civil engineering design and plan drafting in AutoCAD Civil 3D; including paving, grading, roadway, stormwater, and utilities.
- Prepare associated calculations, analyses, and reports.
- Collaborate with design teams across offices and companies.
- Perform code research and prepare project specifications.
- Assist in developing project budgets.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers in making design decisions.
- Assist with managing subcontractors.
Requirements:
- An Associate’s degree or higher in drafting, design, or surveying, or a combination of relevant coursework and drafting experience.
- 3-5+ years of related drafting experience in site, roadway, stormwater, and general civil-type projects.
- Experience with Microstation, InRoads, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- Understanding and application of drafting methods, standards, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of drafting/design software and MS Office Products.
