With 9 campus locations throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts, we offer training in such trades as Automotive Technology, HVAC-R, CAD, Electrician, Plumbing, as well as Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Practical Nursing and Computer & Technology.

Due to growth, we are looking to add an HVAC Program Coordinator to our team.

The HVAC Program Coordinator will organize and lead faculty in a manner that ensures quality classroom instruction. They will administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, which will ultimately allow students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the HVAC program, ensuring it aligns with the company's goals and standards.
2. Develop and implement strategies for improving the HVAC program.
3. Supervise and guide HVAC technicians, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
4. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops for HVAC technicians.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the HVAC program is integrated into the overall operations of the company.
6. Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
7. Handle any issues or problems related to the HVAC program promptly and efficiently.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the HVAC field.
9. Prepare and present reports on the HVAC program's performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Required Connecticut licensing: Current S1 or S2 license; B2 combined with D2 also acceptable
  • 3 or more years of recent work experience as a licensed HVAC Technician or similar position; not including apprenticeship
  • Experience in classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level is a plus
  • Experience in successful leadership and management experience is a plus
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
