To provide for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
- Graduate of an LPN school.
Previous Experience:
- Minimum of one year of patient care experience in emergency department or urgent care preferred.
- Experience with venous access for medication and IV fluid administration.
- Ability to perform venipuncture and lab specimen collections.
- Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.:
- Current licensure from Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners.
