Special Club Features

A fixture in the historic city of Rome, Georgia (founded in 1834), Coosa Country Club has occupied this land along the Coosa River since 1909 and is one of the ten oldest private club in Georgia. Built upon the site of Coosa Farms, a local dairy farm, CCC has persevered for one-hundred and fifteen years of history – through good times and challenging times – to become the growing, thriving and beloved small town club it is today. Just an hour northwest of Atlanta, Coosa Country Club is now a family-focused private club with over 660 members and assets valued in excess of $11,000,000. The golf, racquets, pool and clubhouse facilities are in fine condition and in active use by all of our members.

The 50,000 square foot Georgian Colonial clubhouse was built to its current stature in 1999, with some additional interior work done since. In addition to various dining rooms, a snack bar, golf shop, locker rooms with steam saunas and an exercise room, the clubhouse features a lovely ballroom that seats up to 250 and several smaller meeting rooms for business and social uses. The clubhouse is a place of luncheons, meetings, youth activities, parties, banquets, weddings, dinners, and engaging conversation. The Club’s historic setting, classic architecture, pristine grounds and landscaping are a source of pride in Rome and to all Coosa members.

The Club is open 6 days per week, 12 months per year.
