Attention CT Scan Technologists looking for part time 20 hours per week - weekend coverage needed. $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS TO QUALIFIED EXTERNAL CANDIDATES *. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CT Scan Tech and will provide part time support to its dynamic radiology team. Our rates have increased rates for this part time union role. Summary:
Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate CT scans of patients while maintaining patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Introduces and greets patient.
Responsible for the care and safety of patients.
Instructs and prepares patient forCTexam.
Determines most suitable anatomical posture and positions, and shields patient accordingly.
Produce high quality CT Scans.
Assists with training students and ancillary personnel.
Interacts professionally with patients and family.
Completes all work before clocking out and leaving.
Attends annual hospital review (compliance) and departmental in-services meetings as scheduled.
Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
11.May lead, coach, and mentor staff members.
12.Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
13.Performs other duties as assigned.
May take call as assigned.
Other information:
Required:Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Minimum Experience: minimum one year CT Scan experience.
BLS, CT State RT License or New Graduates under CT Temporary Practice Provisions, Valid ARRT, Continuing education, 24 CEU credits for license. Maintains current knowledge of professional discipline & educational methodologies through continuing professional development. Experience with patient care in a radiology setting.
