In this role you will:
will work with the team to provide community-based support with a rehabilitation and recovery focus using shared lived experiences.. In addition, the Peer Specialist will work with individuals to engage in treatment, regain balance and control of their lives, and support recovery through individual face to face services in the DHS Shelter as specified in the service protocols. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.
What qualifications do you need?
High School diploma or GED
Personal lived experience with Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and or Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
Computer literacy including familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite
