We are seeking a full-time Senior Visual Designer to support our partnerships team. You will be leading our effort to develop new bespoke tactics and level up our existing ones across site and paid media as well as helping on new business pitches. You will join a highly-collaborative, creative and close-knit team who thrive off innovation, giving and receiving feedback, solving complex problems, and developing best-in-class creative solutions.
This position can be based in New York, NY or Charlotte, NC and is a hybrid role.
What You'll Do:
- Developing, designing, and executing concept and layout for cross channel partnership initiatives that drive user engagement and deliver revenue growth
- Improving our paid assets on site including banners, exit modals, widgets, sponsored hub pages and sponsored content experiences
- Collaborating with our copywriter to create compelling concepts for 360 campaigns
- Applying systems thinking to solutions for scalability and speed to solution, developing internal and client-facing documentation and guidelines
- Managing multiple projects from ideation through production to ensure all deliverable and deadlines are met
- Presenting concepts and implementing feedback from stakeholders, creative leads and clients
- Assisting business leads with client presentations and pitches
- Directing freelance talent when additional support is needed
- Managing work tasks using Asana, Slack, and Google Drive
- Remaining curious about pop culture, social media trends and our audience's interests and behaviors in order to infuse culturally relevant elements into briefs, campaigns and creative roadmap
- 5+ years of experience in a creative role/environment
- Exceptional skills in the formal aspects of design, including typography, composition, form, hierarchy, proportion and color
- Strong animation skills
- The ability to distill complex ideas into efficient pieces of visual communication across multiple formats, media and stages of production
- Excellent presentation and communications skills including the ability to provide clear creative direction
- Proactive project lead with strong time management skills who can take initiative for what needs to be done rather than waiting for instructions
- Proven experience in the social media ecosystem, with a keen understanding of how to participate meaningfully and authentically
- Driven by a passion for design to do exceptional work
- Deft at juggling multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, and working individually and collaboratively across teams
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Powerpoint/Google Slides
- Strong interest in travel
- You love what you do, try to have fun every day and have a great sense of humor
- Experience in the travel or credit card industry is preferred, but not required
- USA Compensation Range: $85,000-125,000*
- New York City Compensation Range: $106,000 -150,000
*Note actual compensation is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
