Job Description
This position is based out of Wheeling, WV. We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Lube Technician in the Clarksburg or Fairmont area with a CDL driver license. To maintain and perform on-site oil services to equipment at our Fairview and Shinnston operations. Responsibilities include, keeping a log of equipment services performed, working with the operation’s management team to schedule upcoming services and looking for any potential issues with the equipment during these services intervals. That needs reported to maintenance team to be repaired, aiming to maximum reliability and functionality of our fleet.

Pay Type: Salary Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 (W/ Production Bonus)

- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, filters, lubricating parts etc.) taking oil samples (Cat SOS samples) during routine services, aiming to maximize functionality and longevity of the machine.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Keep logs on work performed and issues corrected, with documented machine numbers and hours.
- Maintain and keep mobile service lube truck and tools in good safe working condition.
Experience
- At least (1-5) years of proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanic or lube guy
- Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is a definite plus
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
- Valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles/equipment
- Well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles/equipment
- Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
- Excellent physical condition
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication skills
- Effective communication is required
- Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
- Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
