The primary role of the Training Manager is to educate and develop college financial representatives and full-time financial representatives who are in their first five years of service. This involves working for network office leadership to design, develop and implement a white-glove training experience that aids in retention and builds culture; monitoring and evaluating results and resolving all training issues.

Build and retain talent within the company by connecting talent to their potential.

Drive faster starts and higher productivity of new full-time financial representatives and college interns through building competencies and confidence.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the National Training Program Roadmap to include leading the education of new financial representatives through executing Financial Planning Academy classes, existing and new follow-up training as needed and curating our network office learning toolkit.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Internship Development, lead the education of new college financial representatives including initial training and continuing development.
  • Update and implement the annual training calendar for the network. Proactively communicate calendar to leadership, facilitators, and key stakeholders.
  • Champion continuing education programs and other learning opportunities, communicate to financial representatives, support progress, and celebrate achievements. This involves monitoring metrics and measurement to goals to support FR progress and communicating to leadership as needed.
  • Curate a list of trusted facilitators; partner with them to develop content and prepare them to facilitate sessions. Provide train-the-trainer coaching and feedback as needed.
  • Provide on-demand, just-in-time training to respond to changing learning needs.
  • Participate in Monthly Director of Training calls with peers and home office and communicate relevant updates or changes to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ Years of training experience required, classroom training with adult learners preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism
