The D2C Account Manager manages relationships with customers who purchase products directly from a company through online channels, primarily by building strong connections, understanding their needs, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the D2C sales ecosystem, including the day-to-day support for D2C accounts.


This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of our D2C accounts and for supporting the development and execution of D2C initiatives and projects. To nurture and grow our D2C channels, this position will require close collaboration, influence, and joint development with internal and external partners.


Compensation: $50-$55K/yr DOE + Commissions

Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to grow D2C revenue while enhancing the consumer experience across channels.
  • Product knowledge: proficient in understanding the specifications of the products to manage the online product assortment for each D2C account.
  • Partners with the Buying team to consistently monitor and analyze inventory allocation across platforms and recommend re-order levels.
  • Product Listing: Create and maintain current online product listings, descriptions, and content on all E-Commerce marketplaces and ensure accuracy, including pricing, pictures, keywords, etc.
  • Work closely with Order Management to ensure all marketplace orders ship within the appropriate time frame.
  • Customer support: directly assist customers with post-order issues, including tracking and potential errors in delivery.
  • Sales conversion: increase sales and decrease irrelevant costs of assigned accounts.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct regular analyses of sales activity, proactively addressing areas of concern through analytics and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on account policies, opportunities, and industry trends/activities/strategies.
  • Become an account systems, procedures, and processes expert to drive opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with a distributor or web retailer (Shopify, eBay, Walmart's eCommerce platform)
  • 3+ years of prior experience selling with a Distributor or web retailer.
  • Consumer electronics or other consumer products sales experience.
  • Understanding and experience within the wholesale distribution market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to articulate clearly and professionally via telephone and email.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Accurate, efficient - ability to proof own work.
  • Entrepreneurial-minded, self-starter attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
  • Web and internet savvy.
  • 4-year college degree preferred.
